Dr. Blount Montgomery currently serves as an AP United States History and American Studies teacher in Atlanta, GA. Since 2014, Dr. Montgomery has also taught college courses such as Western Civilization and American Studies for both four year and two year higher institutions. She has five years of experience tutoring undergraduates in writing skills and six years of working with highschool students before that. While living in Atlanta she has also served as an individual tutor for AP United States History for three years. She has successfully coached students to earn above average scores on the national exam in both her own class as well as with her individual tutoring. She has been recognized for teaching excellence in history and has helped highschool, undergraduate, and graduate students compose personal statements for admissions applications, fellowship applications, graduate programs, and law schools. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in enthusiasm and compassion. She loves working one-on-one with students because of the opportunity to customize her approach to a student’s needs and become an academic cheerleader. Hesley Harps graduated summa cum laude from Sewanee: The University of the South, one of the nation’s top liberal arts universities, with degrees in Environmental Studies: Ecology and Biodiversity and Theater Arts. She is a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa. Hesley has been working as a tutor and teacher for many years and is passionate about bringing material to life. She works with students ranging from kindergarten to college level and specializes in Algebra I and II, geometry, biology, all levels of elementary and middle school science/math, English, history, literature/the classics, reading comprehension and fluency skills, building vocabulary, organizational skills, essay writing, general homework support, and all levels of the HSPT, ISEE, SSAT, SAT, and ACT. Additionally, she has helped students complete remedial math and English programs. She often works with children facing executive function challenges, autism, ADD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and more. She is engaging and upbeat when helping students develop strong time management skills, goals, and a positive attitude towards learning. Siree is a middle school transition science teacher at Woodward Academy with over 20 years of experience teaching science from middle through high school, including Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, and Health Science. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which informs her strength in student motivation, learning strategies, and differentiated instruction. For the past 14 years, Siree has specialized in supporting neurodivergent learners, using inclusive, research-based approaches that build confidence, executive functioning, and content mastery.
Siree brings extensive classroom and tutoring experience to her work, helping students strengthen foundational knowledge, prepare for assessments, and develop effective study skills in Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. She is particularly skilled at breaking down complex scientific concepts into accessible, engaging steps and aligning instruction to IEP/504 goals where needed. In addition to her teaching role, she has led DEI initiatives, mentored students in academic planning, and designed inquiry-based labs that make science relevant and memorable.
Outside the classroom, Siree has coached middle school track and field and enjoys integrating social-emotional learning into her work with students. She is available for both in-person and virtual tutoring sessions and provides structured, supportive learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Shintiara is a math educator and an Academic Intervention Specialist. She brings over 22 years of tutoring experience and 20 years in the education field to Archimedes Academics. She began her career as a tutor and mentor before serving as a paraeducator, substitute teacher (K–12), preschool teacher (ages 3–5), and now as a high school Geometry teacher supporting students in small-group and co-taught settings.
Throughout her career, Shintiara has worked with learners across the lifespan — from children as young as six weeks old to adult learners, including teaching a 48-year-old student how to read. These diverse experiences have shaped her belief that every student can grow with the right structure, strategy, and encouragement.
She specializes in Algebra I, Geometry, Advanced Mathematical Decision Making, and test preparation. Her instructional approach blends explicit teaching, culturally responsive practices, executive functioning support, and confidence-building strategies tailored to each learner.

Katrina is a passionate educator who has more than 19 years of experience teaching Mandarin and English to students of all levels, especially middle and high school. She fosters their language skills through interactive and student-centered approaches. Her training in CBT and experience with a 6-year-old son in a Montessori school allow her to integrate social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies into tutoring.Her students build resilience, self-regulation, and a positive mindset – essential skills for academic and personal growth. Katrina tailors her lessons to diverse learning styles and needs, ensuring all students thrive. Her culturally rich lessons help her students develop fluency in both Mandarin and English. She is available in-person or via Zoom to tutor Mandarin, ESL, grammar, writing, and SAT Language Arts.
Eli is a dedicated tutor committed to providing customized instruction tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals, while also equipping them with the skills to succeed in future courses. He tutors high school and college Biology and Chemistry (+AP Chem and AP Bio), Ecology, and Mathematics (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Calculus). Eli graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a minor in chemistry. To encourage his students to be the best that they can be, he is devoted to creating a positive learning environment. Outside of tutoring, Eli likes to work in the ecological world, volunteering at parks and exploring nature trails. He is available in-person.
Salma Glili graduated summa cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Neuroscience and a Pre-Health focus. While there, she conducted cervical cancer research and presented a project in collaboration with the EPA and CDC. With years of tutoring experience, Salma has supported students from kindergarten through college in achieving strong academic results. She specializes in Algebra I & II, Geometry, high school sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Economics), reading comprehension, academic coaching, and SAT and SSAT preparation.
She is equally passionate about strengthening foundational skills, helping students build core math understanding, reading fluency, writing structure, study strategies, and confidence. Salma also works extensively with students with IEPs, including those with ADD and autism, tailoring her approach to each learner’s individual needs. She is available in-person and remotely via Zoom.
